• The previous health problems of the patient should be inquired (diabetes, hypertension, epilepsy, etc).
• The blood test of the patient should be done.
• It should be evaluated whether the patient is allergic to the local anaesthesia and other medicines to be used in the operation or not.
• It should be inquired whether the patient has psychological illness and uses a psychological medicine or not.
• The patient should not be tired in the day of operation.
• It should be recommended that the patient should quit or decrease smoking before one week.
• The patient should quit taking alcohol or drug about one week ago.
• The patient should quit taking the medicines having anti aggregant properties such as aspirin before one week.
• It should be reminded that the patient should eat meal about 2 hours before the operation.
