Important Matters After the Transplantation

 

The patient should be very careful in the first 72 hours order to protect from traumas including the minor ones 8contact of the hat worn, contact with the pillow when sleeping, etc). The patient should rest and avoid from physical effort in the first 72 hours. The cold compress - ice application should be made against the panicula in the first days. The patient should take antibiotic for 5 days. The patient should avoid from heavy works for 15 days.

The patient should begin to wash the transplantation area in  the second day (and also the suture area if available). The patient should use shampoo having 5.5 of pH about 15 days. The patient should not stretch the hairy skin during the wound  recovery. The patient should not use hot and pressurized water in the first 15 days. The patient should dry the hair with warm air after rinsing. The patient should not use towel for about 1 month. The patient should apply epithelise solutions on the scabs on the hairy skin that speeds up the wound recovery.

The patient should avoid from sun for about 1 month. The patient should not go to swimming in the pool or sea for about 1,5 month. The patient should avoid from the sports such as fitness, football, etc for about 1,5 month. The patient should avoid from the materials such as hair dye,  hair gel, spray, foam etc. The patient also may apply topical minoxidil (Rogaine solution) in order to speed up the growing phase of the hair.
