The hair transplantation does not have any side effect or complication for the patient in the future.

The hair transplantation is a surgery operation that is realized under local anaesthesia. The patient is awake during the operation. The patient can read gazette, watch TV, etc during the operation.

The hair transplantation is an operation including more than one phase. The follicle to be transplanted  is obtained in the first phase. This may be done in various ways. These various ways form the various hair transplantation methods.

The channels where the follicle will be put are opened on the hairless area in the second phase. The follicle is put in these channels in the last phase.

Today, there are two popular techniques for the hair transplantation in the world. First of these techniques is the follicular unit transplantation technique that was applied previously and the developed way of minigraft / micrograft method. The band is taken from the nape of neck and then this area is closed by suturing. The band is separated into grafts including 1-4 follicles called as 'follicular unit' under the microscope. The follicular units are put into the channels opened with special tools on the hairy skin.  

The second of the hair transplantation techniques is the follicular unit extraction (FUE) technique in which the band is not taken from the nape of neck and the suture is not made. The follicles are taken from the back part of the head or other hairy parts of the body (shoulders, back, breast)  if the back part of head is not suitable by using special tools designed for this operation only.  The area where the follicles are taken are recovered in a few days. So the patient may have hair transplantation operation without suture mark on the nape of neck.

The transplanted hair seems more natural with the developed transplantation techniques. The transplanted hair seems more natural with FUE and FUT techniques.

The patient may wash the hair in the second day following the hair transplantation operation. A special washing is applied for 15 days. Then the patient may begin to apply the washing way which the patient prefers. The constant care is not needed after the hair transplantation.

The panicula may be for a few days after the operation because of the medicine applied on the hairy skin. However, this panicula can be prevented substantially with a few precautions and treatment.

The patient may travel by airway or motorway immediately after the operation.

The patient may get down to business next day by wearing a hat. It is recommended to wear hat until the scab gets better if the job of the patient is suitable.

It does not need constant control. Most of the patients leave from city in a few days after the operation. However, the patients should be examined on the 1st, 10th and 15th day and 3rd and 12th month after the operation. Any cost is not paid for these examinations.

The patient may begin to walk in a few days after the operation. However, the patient should avoid from making sports which can give damage to the hairy skin for 1 - 1,5 month (such as football, fitness, etc).
